At Pfadfinder, we begin and end our meetings with a friendship circle and songs that have been shared by generations of Scouts.
When children become invested into Pfadfinder, they also make the Scout Promise and commit to living by the Scout Law. Together, these traditions help create a strong sense of belonging, friendship and shared purpose.

The Scout Promise (Das Versprechen)

A living tradition
These songs, the Promise and the Scout Law are small traditions that connect today’s children with generations of Scouts around the world. Over time they become familiar moments that mark the beginning and end of meetings, camps and shared adventures.
